8th Grade Bookreport Tips

I never before did a bookreport and I was wondering if anyone could give me tips on ''what and what not to do on a bookreport''.

Well, I know you're not supposed to use contractions! Double check spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. Even if a word comes up as spelled right, read through carefully because some words may sound and look similar but have a different meaning and don't make any sense for the sentence!
