THE HISTORY BOARD

Postby Bruce T Clark » Thu Nov 05, 2009 12:11 pm

The History Board is unique in nature and purpose. Unlike objective subjects, such as math, which have one correct response, history affords students an opportunity to go beyond the mundane; who, what, when and where, and lets their imaginations soar like an eagle, as they ponder the plethora of reasons that often lurk behind the arcane curtains of HOW & WHY. This board is open to historical discussions that merit investigation and analysis. However, I caution you to think twice before you post once. BTC

We will certainly try to make you proud. :D Won't we fellows? After all the best Historian on the Planet Earth deserves to have an easy job of moderating on this board! :D :D :D

Will do. Are Current Politics still an allowed subject, as long as we keep it factual and not too hotheaded and about important topics? I understand sometimes things get a little overboard when such discussions escalate.

I haven't been on in about two months, and now there are only eight topics on the History Board instead of forty or fifty. Did the rest get deleted? (Sorry if that's really off topic.)

Political issues are well within established guidelines as long as my caveat is observed. BTC

Hello,

I'm new to Seton, and history is my favourite subject. It's really cool to have a place where you can just chat about historical events and such.
I can tell this is going to be a great school year. :D

Are we allowed to post links about weird political happenings in the government or in the world? Like Baxter pharmaceuticals most likely releasing a plague in Ukraine?
