LETTER TO SETON FROM FR. MARX

Fr. Marx with Dr. Clark

Dear Mary Kay,

Thank you very much for the books you sent.

Except for you sending these, I would never have seen them.

Every day it becomes more evident that Seton is providing a most vital function to society. We can no longer count on our schools, apart from a few exceptions, and the fewness of vocations is mind-boggling. I think that perhaps our birthrate is beyond repair.

But we must carry on in doing the Lord’s work. And we should thank Him every day for the privilege of living in these times when we have the opportunity to do good.

All good wishes and prayers.

Yours in the Lord of Love and Life,

Fr. Paul B. Marx, OSB

P.S. Your publications are great!
