World History is an exciting new course using Seton’s newly published two-volume textbook The Days of Christendom. Filled with historical paintings, maps, and artwork, The Days of Christendom focuses on Western Civilization and takes students from the Ancient Near East followed by Greece and Rome, through the birth of Christendom, the Middle Ages, the Crusades, the Protestant Revolt, the Age of Exploration, the French Revolution, the World Wars, and the fall of Communism, concluding with the Church in the present day.

As with any Seton course, the defining feature of our approach to history is a Catholic perspective. The textbook treats the history of the Church not as one topic among many but as the thread that ties the narrative together, and the teachings of the Faith permeate all aspects of the course. 

The textbook features chapter reviews that are designed to help students prepare easily for each test in the course. Online features include additional enrichment content and interactive pre-tests to help students with test preparation. An audiobook version of the text will soon be added.
