American History
Catholic Homeschool High School Course
Beginning with the Age of Discovery, this course, using Anne W. Carroll’s book Christ and the Americas, focuses centrally on the political and cultural origins of the United States and its development, as well as the Catholic Church’s missionary activity in the Western Hemisphere.

Students will also learn the Catholic history of neighboring countries during this period.

Additionally, integrated into the lesson plan are study guides and essays that provide further enrichment on central historical topics.

This course is designed to give students a solid narrative foundation of key events in American history, emphasizing significant details, important actors, and how God works through his Church in the Americas.
